The conference theme of 'taming uncertainty' wonderfully describes the turbulent times in which we live and run businesses. Just three years earlier, when planning the conference theme, we did not know that dramatic events such as the COVID-19 pandemic or the war in Europe would occur. Both have had and continue to have a vast, often destructive, sometimes stimulating, impact on economies and societies, including all kinds of actors. Entrepreneurs today need to be even more flexible in their actions, quick in their decision-making, and resilient to stress. It is worth talking about this, undertaking research to help them build greater resilience to such events in the future.
